Née en 1976 en Espagne, de père italien et de mère argentine, Samantha Barendson vit aujourd'hui à Lyon. Comme elle, ses textes voyagent d’une langue à une autre.

Poète et romancière, elle aime surtout travailler avec d’autres artistes, peintres, illustrateurs, photographes, danseurs ou musiciens. Elle aime ensuite déclamer, crier, hurler ou chanter ses textes sur scène, un peu frustrée de n’être pas une chanteuse de tango.

Elle fait partie du collectif Le syndicat des poètes qui vont mourir un jour dont le principal objectif est de promouvoir la poésie pour tous et partout. Elle fait également partie du collectif  Le cercle de la maison close qui propose des performances alliant poésie, musique et arts plastiques.

Depuis 2016, Samantha a intégré le projet Versopolis, sélectionnée par le Printemps des Poètes, pour partir en tournée dans plusieurs festivals européens.

 

Presentation

Samantha Barendson is a French, Italian and Argentinian poet. She was born in 1976 in Spain, grew up Mexico and finally settled in France, in Lyons. Like herself, her writing travels from one language to another, and sometimes get mix in a creative reinvention.

Author of poetry but also novels, she likes to work with other artists, painters, illustrators, photographers, dancers and musicians. Then she likes to declaim, perform or sing her poetry on stage, a little frustrated for not being a Tango singer.

She is an active member of the collective Le syndicat des poètes qui vont mourir un jour (The union of poets who will die someday) whose purpose is to promote poetry for everyone and everywhere. She is also member of the collective Le cercle de la maison close (The whorehouse society) which offers performances combining poetry, music and visual arts.

Since 2016, Samantha has been selected by the Versopolis project to attend several festivals across Europe.

Autora de poesía y novelas, Samantha Barendson insiste en provocar encuentros con los demás artistas sean éstos poetas, músicos, bailarines, pintores o fotógrafos. Le gusta declamar, gritar o cantar en el escenario, un poco frustrada de no ser cantante de tango.

Forma parte del colectivo Le syndicat des poètes qui vont mourir un jour (La unión de los poetas que algún día morirán) cuyo objetivo es difundir la poesía para todos y por todas partes. También forma parte del colectivo Le cercle de la maison close (El círculo del prostíbulo) quien propone acciones artísticas uniendo poesía, música y artes plásticas.

Desde el 2016 Samantha forma parte del proyecto Versopolis que organiza varios festivales de poesía por toda Europa.

Autrice di poesia e romanzi, Samantha Barendson insiste nel provocare incontri con altri artisti, siano questi poeti, musicisti, pittori, illustratori o fotografi. Le piace declamare, gridare o cantare sul palcoscenico, un po' frustrata di non essere cantante di tango.

Fa parte del collettivo Le syndicat des poètes qui vont mourir un jour (Il Circolo dei poeti che un giorno moriranno) il cui obiettivo è di promuovere la poesia per tutti & ovunque. Fa anche parte del collettivo Le cercle de la maison close (Il Circolo del postribolo) che propone azioni artistiche unendo poesia, musica e arte plastica.

Dal 2016, Samantha fa parte del progetto Versopolis che organizza vari festival di poesia in tutta Europa.
